AI is Coming Even to Real Estate

Robo-Realtors may still have some teething problems

2023 will be remembered as Day Zero for the AI revolution. Billions upon billions are being poured into this area which promises to revolutionize humanity.
The end result is something called Superintelligence, which sounds like Science Fiction but is, I believe, a certainty. AI is already hitting the real estate business…

AI REALTOR
Property Valuation: I have always lamented the inaccuracy of Zillow’s Zestimate tool. They are now attempting to use AI algorithms to improve their estimates of value. But nothing beats a local realtor with in depth knowledge and experience (hint hint).

Property Search: AI-powered search engines have arrived, but still need to grow out of their teething stage. They use natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to understand a client’s preferences and recommend properties that match their criteria.

Predictive Analytics: Reonomy uses AI to analyze real estate data and provide insights on market trends, property values, and other key metrics.

Marketing and Advertising: Homesnap’s AI-powered advertising platform uses data on consumer behavior to deliver targeted and personalized ads to potential buyers and renters.

Property Inspections: Flywheel uses AI-powered drones to conduct property inspections, providing inspectors with a quick and efficient way to gather data on a property’s condition. Good for very large properties.

Fraud Detection: CertifID uses AI to detect and prevent real estate wire fraud, analyzing data on transactions and flagging any suspicious activity.
